What is an infrared sauna?

A home infrared sauna is a compact wooden cabin with carbon-fiber heating elements built into the front wall, back wall, and floor. These elements emit deep-penetrating infrared heat. The sauna is made of natural pine wood. When in use, it takes up less than one square meter of floor space; when folded, it turns into a small, convenient box that easily fits in a pantry or closet.

Properties of infrared heat

Infrared gentle heat evenly penetrates human tissue to a depth of more than 4 cm. Infrared waves are completely safe for human health and represent the natural way heat is transferred from one object to another. During an infrared heat therapy session, a person sweats much more intensely because the tissues, bones, joints, muscles, and internal organs are deeply warmed. Skin condition improves, lymph and blood circulation accelerate, and metabolism (the process of removing toxins and waste from the body) speeds up — all without putting stress on the heart or blood vessels in the brain, as happens in a traditional sauna, because the head remains outside the cabin.

Properties of pine wood

Pine has excellent thermal insulation properties, allowing the sauna cabin to heat up faster and retain heat longer. Along with its fresh, pleasant aroma, pine releases special substances called phytoncides that destroy bacteria, microscopic fungi, and viruses. Thus, this wood has a beneficial effect on the respiratory system and strengthens the entire body. Over time, pine not only retains its beneficial properties but actually enhances them.
